The hospitality information desk is located on the first floor of the clubhouse at 1 Front St in Marblehead.
Banks
Banks and ATMs are available within walking distance of the BYC.
Dining and Social Activities
The BYC’s Gazebo and bar offer informal dining on the outside deck of the main building. You can also enjoy the cuisine at the Commodore’s Lounge (business casual) for lunch or dinner. Reservations are highly encouraged. Make them at the front desk or call 781-631-3100.
Harbormaster’s Office
The Harbormaster’s Office is on Ferry Lane, just past The Landing Restaurant (Front Street) to starboard as you enter the harbor.
Ice and Fuel
Ice, gasoline, and diesel are available for purchase at the BYC dock.
Internet Access
The BYC is WiFi-enabled. Any WiFi-equipped device can access the Internet anywhere in the Club or Yardarm area, and often from your yacht.
Groceries
Crosby’s Marketplace is a full grocery store located a 5 minute walk from the club off Washington Street. Shubie’s Market on Atlantic Ave is a 10 minute walk and offers prepared foods, specialty groceries and liquor. Both stores sell beer and wine.
Laundry Service & Showers
Laundry machines are located at the Harbormaster’s Office. Check with the Hospitality Desk for laundry and dry-cleaning facilities in Marblehead.
Showers are available in the BYC Yardarm and the Harbormaster’s Office. Additional portable bathrooms with showers are located next to the BYC Yardarm.
Race Registration
Boat owners must register their boats at the Registration Area in the Yardarm, the gray building to the left of the main Club building as you walk up from the dock.
Ship’s Locker
Visit the Ship’s Locker in the tent or across from the front desk to purchase T-shirts, race memorabilia, and BYC merchandise.
Shopping
There are many unique shops in Marblehead, including gift boutiques, antique shops, and ship’s chandleries. Shopping and dining opportunities are available within walking distance of the BYC.
Transportation
Local transportation from the BYC parking lot can be arranged for short trips during the day. See the Officer of the Day or the Hospitality Desk for arrangements.
Airport transportation is available through Boston Coach (800-672-7676) or North Shore Shuttle/Be Driven (800-233-7483). Uber and Lyft are also available at the airport and throughout Marblehead.
